Children: The Future is with Them

     Under the Republic Act 1661, the month of November is declared as "National Children's Month." The theme for 2018 is, "Isulong, Tamang Pag-aaruga Para sa Lahat ng Bata."

     Parent should be responsible for taking care of their children, giving them their necessary needs and allowing them to have education.

     We'll never know what will become of them in the future They may have a bright or a dark future ahead of them. That's why there are adults, particularly their parents to lead them towards the former. they hold the future of not only themselves, but the future of the world as well. Our world may become brighter if children are raised and taught well. As Dr. Jose Rizal said, "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan."

Ang Buwan ng Wika ay ipinagdidiriwang taon-taon sa buwan ng Agosto. Iba't iba ang tema nito bawat taon. Ngunit ang lahat ay tungkol sa ating wika. Ang Filipino. "Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik," ang tema ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong 2018. Ang mga paaralan ay nagsasagawa ng iba't ibang paligsahan para sa mga estudyante. Naisasagawa ang paggawa ng tula, sanaysay, islogan, poster, at iba pa upang maenganyo ang mga estudyante sa pag-aaral sa ating sariling wika. Ang tema ay kumikilala sa wikang Filipino bilang midyum sa paglikha at pagpapalaganap ng pambansang karunungan at kaunlaran. Sa pamamagitan ng tema, layon ng KWF na palaganapin ang wikang Filipino sa iba’t ibang larang ng karunungan, lalo na sa agham at matematika. Last July 23, 2018, the fourth monday of July, Mr. Rodrigo Roa Duterte had his third SONA. The different accomplishments and concerns about Filipinos were stated and discussed. I have read his piece and there are those lines that caught my attention. One is, "Your concern is human rights, mine is human lives," I remember this line and the reason why he stated this. He means that he values both the present and future, that he has knowledge on what crimes can do to the youth of our country. "I value friendship, make no doubt of it. But it has its limits," I admire him for saying this- proving that he is not a biased leader. "I expect that you do your part in ensuring our nation's sustainable development, starting now". Nutrition Month 2018

"Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin!" is the theme of the nutrition moth 2018 according to the National Nutrition Council (NNC) of the Philippines. Nutrition Month is celebrated every year on the month of  July. There are activities that are held to improve people's knowledge about nutrition, especially for students. There are activities for students to communicate with one another and activities where they can impart their talents and skills in relation to the given theme. The theme of the Nutrition month 2018 is about family food gardening wherein having food gardens can help improve the family and the community's food security.
