The Philippines' location can justify why our country goes through many natural hazards. We are located on the Pacific Ring of Fire and we are beside the Pacific ocean. Earthquakes and typhoons may happen often. We know that our country is easily flooded. Our country is "prone to disasters," but are we, Filipinos, resilient on these? Most people, though given precautions on incoming natural hazards in our country, will not prepare for it which leads to disasters. During one, it's either they work on their needs or depend on the government. If the former is done, I can say that we are quite resilient. If the latter, I can't say that we are. Our resiliency depends on us. To hasten our resiliency, we should stop depending on others. We should depend on ourselves, help ourselves. Our country may experience many disasters. We should all be well-oriented and prepared. Let's go through these alive and safe. Let's be resilient. Let's save ourselves.

The first quarter in ICT was an exciting one. Almost all of us now use the internet; for studying, researching, communicating, and for leisure. Who wouldn't want to know more about it? We have tackled about the internet; its history, and its components. We also learned some information about blogs; its types and its advantages. Now, all of us in our class are blogging. I may have had some difficulties and struggles with writing one, but thankfully, my classmates and our teacher, Mrs. Vera Cruz, was there to help and guide us, telling us what to do and educating us about it. We have also discussed on the different search techniques wherein you can apply them to have a more precise and reliable search results. Moving on, I really had fun in our first quarter and I have learned a lot in those two months. Indeed, I enjoyed it and I hope that the next quarters will also be as exciting.

Ang Buwan ng Wika ay ipinagdidiriwang taon-taon sa buwan ng Agosto. Iba't iba ang tema nito bawat taon. Ngunit ang lahat ay tungkol sa ating wika. Ang Filipino. "Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik," ang tema ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong 2018. Ang mga paaralan ay nagsasagawa ng iba't ibang paligsahan para sa mga estudyante.
